Another great turn-out for the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. Again, the weather was great and the bass fishing was, and continues to be fantastic. The 50 teams took out of PB#2 at 6:30 P.M. and returned for the weigh-in at 10:00 P.M. with their livewells full of quality bass.
There were twenty-one limits and fourteen bass over 4 pounds weighed, three weighing over 5 pounds, one of which weighed 5.63 pounds for big bass of the tournament caught by the team of Jerry Guffey and Jess Grizzell.
The bass are being caught on plastics, jigs and spinner baits two to twelve feet. With the heavy generation in recent weeks, the bass do not seem to be in the brush piles as they would normally be this time of the year.
Free entry for next week's Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament was drawn by the team of Gary Shultz and Scott Melton.
