Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 7/24

Last night there were thirty teams (30) launching out of PB#2 at 6:30 P.M. hoping to bring a five fish limit of bass to the 10:30 P.M. weigh-in.  The bite has changed since Ameren UE has reduced and some cases stopped generation.  For some anglers it seems like the bite has stopped completely, but as always there are some anglers who figured out where the bass are and the best bait to catch them.

There were four, 5 fish limits brought to the scales, which is the least amount of limits weighed in a Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament.  Most of the teams had two or three keepers and had very few bites in the three and half hour tournament.  Only four bass weighing 4 pounds and one bass weighing 5 pounds were brought to the scales, which is another first for the Wednesday night tournament.

1ST PLACE -- SCOTT JR. AND SCOTT SR. DANEK
Scott, Sr. and Scott, Jr. Danek took first place with another impressive limit that tipped the scales at 22.22 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 5.38 pounds for big bass of the tournament.

2ND PLACE-- MIKE HILL AND SHAWN KOWALL

Shawn Kowal and Mike Hill came in second with an impressive limit as well that weighed 20.97 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 4.91 pounds.

3RD PLACE-  PUG BLEDSOE AND SCOTT STONITSCH
Scott Stonitsch and "Pug" Bledsoe claimed third place with a good limit weighing 16.07 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 4.72 pounds.

4TH PLACE -- GARY SHULTZ AND SCOTT MELTON (NOT PIC.)

Gary Shultz and Scott Melton took fourth place with a limit weighing 15.40 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 4.72 pounds.

Free entry for next week's Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament was drawn by the team of Chad Green and Robby Robinson.

Next week's tournament, July 31st., will be the Bass Cat Boats Quest series.  All anglers owning a Bass Cat boat need to try their skill and luck, and try to win the incentive money offered by Bass Cat Boats.
