Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 7/31

The bite has slowed down for the second week.  Of the thirty-eight (38) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament there were only six,  five fish limits brought to the scales.  Most of the anglers had three to four keepers weighing around two pounds.  There were three bass weighing 5.14 5.25 and 5.58 pounds, and only three bass weighing four pounds.

There doesn't seemed to be any clear cut pattern.  Some of the anglers are catching bass in deep brush and others shallow, six to twelve feet.

Scott, Sr. and Scott, Jr. Danek came in first again with a limit weighing 17.75 pounds, however they had one dead fish causing a one pound deduction giving them a total weight of 16.75 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 4.81 pounds.

2ND PLACE -- TROY AND ERIC WIETHROP

Eric and Troy Wiethrop claimed second place with a limit weighing 16.63 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 5.14 pounds.
