Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 5/22

Another decent tournout for the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament with thirty-one (31) teams.  The weather finally stabilized and most of the bass seem to be in their post spawn stage.  There are a few on beds, but not many.

A lot of the teams brought two and three bass 4 pounds are better to the scales, but could not manage a five fish limit.  However, in most tournaments there will always be several teams with limits and that was the case last night.

There were eight limits weighed with the heavist stringer tipping the scales at 19.49 pounds caught by the team of Gary Shultz and Scott Melton for first place.  In addition to taking first place, Shultz won the Bass Cat Quest by fishing out of his new 2013 Bass Cat Cougar.  Their big bass weighed 5.66 pounds.

Second place went to Roger Springs and Kenny Hunt with 16.62 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 4.10 pounds.

Jeff Beachamp and Winn Stevens came in third place with a total weight of 15.84 pounds.  Their big bass weighed 4.35 pounds.

Fourth place went to Roger Cook and Mike Hutton with a weight of 14.69 pounds.  They also took big bass honors with a hefty lunker weighing in at 5.68 pounds.

Free entry for next week's Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament was the husband and wife team of Dave and Dee Phelps.

Unfortunately someone forgot the camera last night therefore there were no photos taken.
