Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 8/29

The high temperatures and increasing gasoline prices had a major effect on the number of anglers fishing this summer. However, last night was the final regular tournament of the Missouri Angler
Wednesday Night Tournament series. Maybe things will get better next year.
Last night the bite was like the week before, slow. There were only twenty teams fishing and only four teams made it to the weigh-in line. Out of the four teams weighing there was only one 5 fish limit.

The first place team, Kenny Hunt and Roger Springs, had four bass, but what tipped the scales in their favor were the two 5 pounders they brought to the scales, one of which weighed 5.18 pounds for big bass of the tournament.

1st. Kenny Hunt & Roger Springs 4 Bass 16.67 lbs.
2nd. Terry Blankenship & Ron Clement 5 Bass 13.29 lbs.
3rd. Chuck Knight & Branden Carnahan 3 Bass 11.22 lbs.

Following are the names and take-off positions of the teams that qualified for the September 12th fish-off. Don't forget to be at PB#2 by 4:30 P.M. for live well checks bfore the 5:00 P.M. take-off.
