Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 4/24

Every angler that participates in the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament is wondering when the spring temperatures will return.  Last night all the anglers were dressed in winter clothing because of the low temperaturesmid to low 40's at the 6:30 pm take-off.

This week there were only fifteen teams signed up for the tournament with just as many waiting for warmer weather, especially after the sun sets.  The bite was super tough with most of the anglers only weighing one or two keepers, however there is always that ten percent who somehow manage to locate bass and strut up to the scales with a heavy limit. That is exactly what happened last night.

Last weeks winners, Roger Cook and Mike Hutton, won again with a very impressive limit weighing 19.36 pounds, which included a "hog" weighing 6.34 pounds.  Roger and Mike are definitely on a solid pattern, especially with the tough conditions, cold fronts and lake fluctuating daily.

Second place was claimed by Shawn Kowal and Mike Hill brought a nice limit to the scales that weighed 14.70 pounds.  Their big fish weighed 5.47 pounds, which would normally be big bass of the tournament.

Third place went to Chad Green and Robby Robinson with four bass weighing 12.07 pounds.  Their big bass weighed in at 3.91 pounds.

Free entry for next weeks Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament was drawn by Art Harlan.
