Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 7/25

The tempertatures continue to be over 100 degrees without any significant let up in sight, which is keeping a lot of anglers home instead of fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. Because of the 103 degree temperature at take-off there were only twenty-five (25) teams fishing.

Out of the twenty-five teams only seven, 5 fish limits were brought to the scales. There were eight bass four pounds or better, which included four bass weighing five pounds. Big bass of the tournmanet weighed in at 5.88 pounds caught by the team of Delbert Shepherd and Frankie Carroll.
Although there were two limits weighing seventeen pounds, the best bite doesn't pick up until later in the evening, which doesn't help the anglers weighing in at 10:00 P.M. Most of the anglers in the tournament had three or four small keepers weighing between nine and twelve pounds.
