Fantastic weather and fantastic fishing for the forty-one (41) teams participating in the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. In the 3 1/2 hour tournament there were fourteen, 5 fish limits brought to the scales with several teams weighing 4 bass in hopes their five or four pounder would put them in the hunt.


Thirteen of the bass caught weighed four pounds or better. There were three bass weighing five pounds with big bass of the tournament weighing in at 5.62 pounds, which was caught by the father and son team of Scott, Sr. and Scott, Jr. Danek.

Some of the bass weighed appeared to be full of eggs and others showed signs of having spawned.
Free entry for next weeks Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament was drawn by the team of Ed Fisher and Don Franks.

Jeff Hayes owner of Rippin Lips Bait & Tackle, in Kaiser, Missouori donated two 20% off coupons for the 6th place team of Marty "Ski" and Al Rudolph with the weight of 16.93 lbs .
