Another perfect evening weatherwise for the thirty-three (33) teams
taking out of PB#2 for the 3 1/2 hour Missouri Angler Wednesday Night
Tournament. Bass fishing is good considering the unpredictable weather
that has plagued the lake area for the last four or five weeks. On the
bright side though, a majority of the bass are off the beds and quite a
few bass in the 3 to 4 pound range are being brought to scales.
Although some of the anglers have been complaining the bite slows
down once it gets dark, other anglers say when it gets dark that's when
they do best.

Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 5/22
Another decent tournout for the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night
Tournament with thirty-one (31) teams. The weather finally stabilized
and most of the bass seem to be in their post spawn stage. There are a
few on beds, but not many.
A lot of the teams brought two and three bass 4 pounds are better to the scales, but could not manage a five fish limit. However, in most tournaments there will always be several teams with limits and that was the case last night.
There were eight limits weighed with the heavist stringer tipping the scales at 19.49 pounds caught by the team of Gary Shultz and Scott Melton for first place. In addition to taking first place, Shultz won the Bass Cat Quest by fishing out of his new 2013 Bass Cat Cougar. Their big bass weighed 5.66 pounds.
Second place went to Roger Springs and Kenny Hunt with 16.62 pounds. Their big bass weighed 4.10 pounds.
Jeff Beachamp and Winn Stevens came in third place with a total weight of 15.84 pounds. Their big bass weighed 4.35 pounds.
Fourth place went to Roger Cook and Mike Hutton with a weight of 14.69 pounds. They also took big bass honors with a hefty lunker weighing in at 5.68 pounds.
Free entry for next week's Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament was the husband and wife team of Dave and Dee Phelps.
Unfortunately someone forgot the camera last night therefore there were no photos taken.

Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 5/8
Twenty-seven (27) teams launched out of PB#2 at 6:30 pm with threatening
storms in the area, but luckily the rain didn't arrive until after the
10:00 pm weigh-in.
Most of the bass are on beds and a lot of the bass being caught are the 13 to 14 inch bucks, however there are some good 3 to 6 pound largemouth being caught. The most consistent bite has been spinner baits, jigs and plastic baits worked in 2 to 6 feet.
Last night several 3 and 4 pound bass were weighed along with a 6.06 pound lunker caught by the team of

Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament 5/1
It seems like Wednesdays are cursed. There's either rain, tornado
warnings and cold fronts, and like last night the weatherman forecasted
storms in the area. Although bad weather was supposed arrive
during tournament hours, twenty-two (22) teams took out of PB#2 for the
third Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament of the year.
Some bass are on beds and others are on their way, but because of the screwy weather and cold fronts the bite will be good a couple of days and lousy the next couple of days. The most consistent bite is spinner bait and jigs.
There were just four limits brought to the scales with one bass weighing 5 pounds are better. Most of the anglers reported catching two or three bass in the 3 1/2 hour tournament.
