Another good turnout for the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament
and just like last week the weather and fishing conditions for the
forty-two (42) teams could not have been better. Although Ameren UE
reduced the generation eliminating some current, it didn't seem to
effect the bite other than move the bass to shallower structure.
There were sixteen, 5 fish limits brought to the scales, seventeen of which weighed four pounds or better, including two, five pounders and two toads that weighed 6.10 and 6.31 pounds. Nine of the limits weighed sixteen pounds or better.
The team of Robbie Robinson and Marty McGuire secured big bass of the tournament with their 6.31 pound lunker. It's apparent by the bite, quanity and size of the bass being caught that the largemouth are out of their post spawn mode, in fact they're almost as mean and vicious as the Falcon Lake largemouth.
Free entry for next week's Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament is the team of Jerry Guffy and Jess Grizzell.
