Another great night for the thirty-five (35) teams fishing the
Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament and the heavy stringers just
keep showing up at the scales.
JOE TERY WITH BIG BASS...5.77 LBS.
There were fourteen bass 4 pounds or better and six bass weighing 5 pounds plus. Big bass of the tournament was caught by Joe Terry and weighed in at 5.77 pounds.
Joe fished by himself and as mean as these bass are, I'm sure Joe had a
fight on his hands trying to get this toad in the boat.
Unfortunately, just like last Wednesday's tournament, seventeen
pounds did not make the top five places. There were two teams that had
that weight, but could only watch heavier limits bump them out of the
money.
1ST PLACE -- SCOTT DANEK JR. & SR.
The father and son team of Scott, Sr. and Scott, Jr. Danek
brought a limit of bass that rocked the scales at 23.05 pounds. The
largest stringer so far this year. Their big bass weighed 5.43 pounds.
2ND PLACE -- LAWSON AND DION HIBDON
Another father and son team of Dion and Lawson Hibdon brought an impressive limit to the scales weighing 20.54 pounds for second place. Their big bass weighed 4.63 pounds.
3RD PACE -- TERRY BLANKENSHIP AND RON CLEMENT
Third place went to Terry Blankenship and Ron Clement who brought another impressive limit to the scales that weighed 19.66 pounds. Their big bass weighed 4.91 pounds.
4TH PLACE -- DENNIS PACE AND TOM KLINE
Dennis Pace and Tom Kline claimed fourth place with a nice limit weighing 18.53 pounds. Their big bass weighed 4.10 pounds.
5TH PLACE -- HANK GOEN AND JIM GIANLADIS
Fifth place went to Jim Gianladio and Hank Goen who had a a good limit weighing 18.44 pounds. Their big bass weighed 4.27 pounds.
