The Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament results are beginning to look like the movie "Groundhog Day," same amount of anglers, same high, miserable temperatures and the same tough bite. Like last week and the weeks before there were only twenty-six (26) teams fishing, about twenty (20) teams less than normal.
Last night the bite was tough. Most of the anglers reported catching a boat load of 13 to 14 inch bass, but the keeper bites, 15 inches and up, were far and few between. Out of the twenty-six teams, there were only two, 5 fish limits and three, 4 fish bags weighed.
Big bass of the tournament weighed 5.29 pounds and was caught by the team of Chad Green and Robbie Robinson who also won the tournament with a weight of 15.72 pounds.
Jeff Hayes of Ripp'n Lips Bait & Tackle, Kaiser, Missouri provided two certificates for 20% off tackle purchases for the fourth place team of Dave Phelps and Mike Ireland..
